Traverse Homes, LLC runs buildtraverse.com. This page explains what information the site collects, what we do with it, and the choices you have. If you have a question about any of it, email info@buildtraverse.com.
Information you give us
When you fill out one of our forms (the contact form, a community waiting list, or a floor plan inquiry), we receive what you enter. That's usually your name, email address and phone number, plus anything you tell us about your project, like where and when you'd like to build, whether you have a lot, and any message you write.
How we use it
- To reply to you and follow up about the home, floor plan or community you asked about.
- To keep waiting-list members updated about that community.
- To send our monthly email. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.
We don't sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share it with other businesses for their own marketing.
Services that handle it for us
Form submissions are delivered through Formspree, a form-processing service, and stored in the customer management system we use to keep track of inquiries. Our monthly email is sent through an email service provider. These companies handle your information only to provide those services to us. We may also share information if the law requires it.
Google Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site, so we can tell which pages are helpful and improve the rest. It uses cookies and collects information such as the pages you visit, how long you stay, how you found us (for example a search, social media or a link), your general location (city level), your device and browser type, and actions like tapping our phone number, downloading a brochure or sending a form. We look at this information in summary form, not to identify you.
Google processes this data under its own policies. You can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services. To opt out, you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or block cookies in your browser settings. The site works the same either way.
Other services on our pages
Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts and styling code from a content delivery network, and some floor plan pages include a 3D tour from Matterport. Like any website, these services receive basic technical details from your browser, such as your IP address, when the page loads, and Matterport may set its own cookies if you use the tour. Links to Instagram, TikTok and other websites are covered by those sites' own privacy policies.
How long we keep it
We keep form information for as long as we need it to work with you, or until you ask us to delete it, except for records we're required to keep. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we have about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing info@buildtraverse.com or calling 435-770-0186.
Children
This site is meant for adults planning a home. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and we take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us. No method of sending or storing data is completely secure, though, so we can't guarantee it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
